Hickey Freeman was honored to support the Gary Sinise Foundation at the Rock This Country Race and Music Festival in New York City.
When we dropped off a Hickey Freeman tuxedo for Sinise to wear for an event last week, the actor graciously invited a few members of our team to tour the set of CSI: NY.
Famous for his role as a Vietnam vet inĀ Forrest Gump, Sinise covered hits with the Lieutenant Dan Band at the Tunnel to Towers annual run. The concert and the race benefited the Tunnel to Towers Foundation and the Gary Sinise Foundation who have partnered and created Build for America’s Bravest.
As a company that is proud of its Made in America roots, Hickey Freeman especially appreciates the Gary Sinise Foundation, which serves the United States of America by honoring its defenders, veterans, first responders and their families.
Building for America’s Bravest builds homes for triple and quadruple amputee veterans. The run honors Stephen Siller, an incredibly selfless firefighter who ran through the Battery tunnel to the towers on 9/11 and saved lives but sadly perished when the south tower came down.
We respect Gary Sinise for his work and talent in many areas and his dedication to a cause he cares about. And we think he looks great in our clothing!
